An 18-year-old man in Phoenix, Arizona, has been accused of killing his neighbor and then living in his home for weeks following the crime. Police officers reported to a home in the Laveen neighborhood of Phoenix on Monday,

Eyosiyas Belema Jote, 21, died from his injuries at the hospital on Saturday, according to Phoenix police. He was one of four victims in a downtown Phoenix shooting that also left three women hospitalized last Sunday.

PHOENIX — A shooting in central Phoenix on Friday night left a man with serious injuries, according to the city's police department. Phoenix police officers responded to a call for shots fired just before 11 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a man with at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Officers were first called to a business in the area of 7th Avenue and Van Buren Street around 8:30 a.m., where one person was found with a gunshot wound. Police say the person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Later in the day, the man died from his injuries.
