Lincoln County commissioners Monday threw their unanimous support behind the workers of Union Pacific and keeping their jobs located at Bailey Yard in North Platte.
The local head of Bailey Yard’s conductors union is dissenting from his national leaders’ embrace of a Union Pacific job-security deal and the railroad’s merger with Norfolk Southern Railway.
